Roscommon man charged in connection with fatal stabbing of mother

A 25-year-old Roscommon man has appeared in court charged with assault causing harm following the death of his mother.

Ann Henry , 49, died after being stabbed outside her home in the Abbeytown area of Roscommon Town on Saturday afternoon.
