Crashed plane to be examined
A full technical examination of an aircraft which crashed in Co Tipperary yesterday will take place at the Air Accident Investigation Unit in Co Meath later.
Two men were travelling in the small aircraft when it came down near Mullinahone at around 11.30am yesterday morning.
One of the men, Gerard Murphy from Co Cork, was seriously injured, while the other, the pilot, 48-year-old Vincent Vaughan, escaped with a broken leg.
