Greens call for site valuations to dictate household charge

Green Party Eamon Ryan is calling on the Government to stick to its programme for government on the issue of a household charge.

Minister for the Environment Phil Hogan is expected to bring proposals on how to collect the charge to cabinet next Tuesday, with the levy to be rolled out from January 1.
