Govt to detail achievements of first 100 days in office

Taoiseach Enda Kenny and Tánaiste Eamon Gilmore will stage a press conference later today to mark the first 100 days in office of the Fine Gael/Labour coalition government.

The coalition leaders are expected to use the occasion to highlight the achievements made since ousting the previous administration. However critics say a number of recent policy u-turns mean the milestone is less of a success than the two parties may have hoped for.
