Education group to protest in Galway

The Free Education for Everyone campaign group is holding a demonstration in Galway this afternoon, to highlight the thousands who have emigrated due to the recession.

Names of those who have emigrated, which were collected through Facebook, will be written on the ground at Eyre Square.

There will be chalk available throughout the day for anyone who would like to contribute the names of friends or family who have left Ireland.
