New healthcare facilities to create 40 jobs in Offaly and Kildare

Nua Healthcare is to create 40 new jobs this summer with the launch of two new facilities in Offaly and Kildare.

The organisation - which already has 14 facilities in Kildare and Laois - provides specialised residential, respite and day services to people with learning disabilities and brain injuries.

A new Residential Assessment Centre in Offaly will employ more than 15 people and will cater for up to four children with autism.

The second centre, which will be in Kilcullen, will create over 25 new jobs when completed in July and will cater for people with problems associated with ageing.

The jobs will be in nursing and social care and it is hoped the roles will be filled within the next month.
