Number of State agency bosses forego bonuses
It has emerged some of the top earners at key State agencies are giving up their bonuses.
A report in today's Irish Examiner reveals chief executives at the National Treasury Management Agency, NAMA and the National Development Finance Agency are - for the first time - waiving their right to bonus payments worth 850,000 in total.
The decision is being put down to concerns arising from the broader economic challenges facing the country.
NTMA head John Corrigan is to forgo as much as €392,000 in bonus payments for 2010, according to the report by Irish Examienr business editor Conor Keane.
National Asset Management Agency (NAMA) chief Brendan McDonagh is waiving a possible bonus of €258,000. National Development Finance Agency (NDFA) head Brian Murphy is relinquishing a potential bonus of €198,000.
