Cameron joins dignitaries for State banquet
Most guests attending tonight's State dinner have now arrived at Dublin Castle.
The event, in honour of Britain's Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh, is being hosted by President Mary McAleese and her husband Dr Martin McAleese.
The British Prime Minister David Cameron, who is making his first official visit to Ireland this evening, will also attend the dinner.
The guest list also includes former Taoisigh Bertie Ahern and Brian Cowen, Fianna Fáil leader Micháel Martin, former President Mary Robinson and rugby player Brian O'Driscoll with his wife Amy Huberman.
The North's First Minister and DUP leader Peter Robinson will be with his wife Iris who is making her first public appearance since withdrawing from public life last year.
