Bus Éireann announces changes to Cork routes during Friday visit of Queen
Bus Éireann has today outlined alterations to services in Cork during royal visit this Friday, May 20.
Route 1: Mayfield - Blackpool - Knocknaheeney – Bishopstown: services will operate as normal
Route 2: Knocknaheeney - City Centre - Mahon: Services will operate as normal to/from Knocknaheeny. From Sundays Well, Services will operate via Victoria Cross, Dennehys Cross, Wilton Rd, Roundabout, via South Ring Rd to Kinsale Rd Roundabout, Curragh Rd/ Turners Cross to Anglesea St. From Mahon, services will operate normal service route
Route 3: Ballyphehane - City Centre - Farranree: to/from Farranree, services will operate as normal to/from Merchants Quay. To/from Ballyphehane, Services will operate as per weekday timetable to/from Anglesea St. opposite Market Bar
Route 4: St Patrick Street - Friar's Walk: to/from Friar’s Walk, services will operate as per weekday timetable to/from Anglesea St. opposite Market Bar
Route 5: Cork Institute of Technology - St Patrick Street - Kent Station: Services will operate as normal to/from Merchants Quay. To/from C.I.T., services will operate to/from Anglesea St. opposite Market Bar There will be no service from Dennehy’s Cross/College Rd to Washington Street for the duration of the closure
Route 5A: Merchants Quay - Blackpool - Mallow Road:
Route 6: Grange - South Mall: to/from Grange, services will operate as per weekday timetable to/from Anglesea St. opposite Market Bar
Route 7: Donnybrook - City Centre - Ballyvolane: to/from Ballyvolane, services will operate as normal to/from Merchants Quay to/from Donnybrook, services will operate as per weekday timetable to/from Anglesea St. opposite Market Bar
Route 7A: Well Road - St Patrick Street/Montenotte - Merchants Quay:
Route 8: Mayfield - City Centre - Bishopstown/Curraheen: to/from Bishopstown, Market Bar via South Ring Road to Kinsale Rd Roundabout, Curragh Rd/Turners Cross. There will be no service from Dennehy’s Cross/College Rd to Washington Street for the duration of the closure
Route 8A: Lotamore - St Patrick Street: Services will operate as normal to/from Merchants Quay
Route 9: Pouladuff - St Patrick Street/Audley Place - St Patrick Street: to/from Pouladuff, services will operate as per weekday timetable to/from Anglesea St. opposite Market Bar
Route 10: Mahon Point - City Centre - Glasheen: to/from Mahon Point, services will operate as per weekday timetable to/from Anglesea St. opposite Market Bar. to/from Glasheen, Normal service as far as Gilabbey St. Then via Pearse Rd, Turners Cross to Anglesea St. opposite Market Bar.
Route 11: Sunday's Well - St Patrick Street: Services will operate as normal to Sundays Well
Route 12: Merchant's Quay - Glenthorn : Services will operate as normal to/from Glenthorn
Route 14: St Patrick Street - Cork University Hospital: to/from C.U.H. Normal service as far as the Lough. Then via Pearse Rd, Turners Cross to Anglesea St. opposite Market Bar
Route 16: South Mall - Mount Oval: /from Mount Oval, services will operate as per weekday timetable to/from Anglesea St. opposite Market Bar
Services to/from Ballincollig, Macroom, West Cork and Kerry will depart from Parnell Place Bus Station via South Link Road
Park & Ride: Black Ash Park & Ride will operate as normal
All other services will depart from Bus Station, Parnell Place
