Phoebe Prince death: Two teens sentenced to probation

Two of the six teenagers charged with bullying Irish teenager Phoebe Prince have been sentenced to one year's probation.

They were also ordered to complete community service.

Phoebe, who was 15, killed herself in January last year, after a sustained campaign of bullying at South Hadley High School. The Prince family moved to Massachusetts from Co Clare in 2009.

Now two of the six people charged in connection with Phoebe's suicide have been sentenced.

Sean Mulveyhill pleaded guilty to criminal harassment and Kayla Narey admitted to "sufficient facts" on the same charge.

Both 18-year-olds were ordered to do 100 hours of community service to help at-risk children, complete their high school education and they were barred from profiting from their involvement in the Phoebe Prince case.

Three other teenagers charged with stalking, harassment and civil rights violations causing bodily injury had previously reached deals in the case.

The case of the sixth teen is still pending in Superior Court.
