Three women held captive as thieves attempt to raid Kildare post office

Gardaí are searching for a gang of men after an attempted tiger-kidnapping in Co Kildare overnight.

Shortly after 1am, four men forced their way into the home of the local postmistress in Prosperous wearing balaclavas and armed with crowbars and a sledge hammer.
