The Dáil has passed new road safety laws which make it compulsory for Gardaí to breathalyse drivers involved in any road collision where someone has been injured.

The Dáil has passed new road safety laws which make it compulsory for Gardaí to breathalyse drivers involved in any road collision where someone has been injured.

Drivers who are believed to have consumed alcohol will also be required to take a breath test.
