Limerick brothers charged with making threats to kill

Two Limerick brothers have been remanded in custody at Limerick District Court charged with threatening to kill two women and a man.

Thirty-three-year-old Wayne Dundon, of Lenihan Avenue, Limerick, and with an address in England, is accused of threatening to kill a man in September last year.

Twenty-nine-year-old John Dundon, from Hyde Road, Limerick, is charged with threatening to kill two women earlier this month.

Through their solicitor, both requested a media blackout on naming any other individuals connected to them, after two people had allegedly received threats, which the accused men's solicitor said "may have been exacerbated by media coverage".

Wayne and John Dundon were remanded in custody to Portlaoise Prison and Cloverhill Prison in Dublin to appear before Limerick District Court on April 27.
