Commissioner receives Corrib report on rape remarks

Details have emerged today of a second tape recording from 2006, during which a Garda is alleged to have made sexually abusive remarks to a protestor in Bellinaboy.

The Garda Commissioner has received a report into allegations that Gardai threatened to rape two female protesters arrested at the controversial Corrib gas pipeline in Co. Mayo last week.
