Huge crowds turn out for Kerr funeral
Huge crowds have turned out to pay their last respects to PSNI officer Ronan Kerr who was murdered by dissident republicans in the North at the weekend, and who is being buried this afternoon.
The 25-year-old died after a bomb exploded under his car in Omagh on Saturday.
Political leaders and police chiefs from both sides of the Border are among the mourners at Requiem Mass in Beragh in Co Tyrone.
The Taoiseach Enda Kenny is attending along with First Minister Peter Robinson, Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness, PSNI Chief Constable Matt Baggot and the Garda Commissioner Martin Callinan.
Local priest Father Arthur McAnerney is conducting the Mass.
