The Dáil has heard condemnation of the killing of PSNI officer Ronan Kerr who died in a car bomb attack at the weekend.

Taoiseach Enda Kenny pledged the full support of the Government and the Gardaí in assisting the PSNI in tracking down the killers of the 25-year-old.

Crimestoppers has put up a reward of Stg£50,000 sterling for anyone with information which leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.

Enda Kenny, who is expected to attend Ronan Kerr's funeral tomorrow, said the Government was ready to assist with the investigation into "this act, which runs completely contrary to the express will of the people…We will give every support to the Garda Siochána and to continue to work closely with the PSNI, to tackle this threat."
