Severed limb confirmed as belonging to convicted rapist

Gardaí are working to determine the last known movements of a convicted rapist whose severed arm was found on a beach in Dublin.

The limb was found on Dollymount strand last month but was only formally identified as belonging to James Nolan yesterday.

The 46-year-old from Finglas in west Dublin has not been seen since being released from Portlaoise Prison last November.
