Deloitte creates 125 jobs in Belfast
The North's Enterprise Minister Arlene Foster has announced that Deloitte is to create 125 new jobs in Belfast over the next two years.
Deloitte delivers a range of audit, tax, consulting and corporate finance services to clients across the public and private sectors from offices in the UK and Ireland, including Belfast.
One hundred of the new jobs to be created in a National Solution Centre in Belfast, which will focus on software development, testing, analytics and application support.
A further 25 jobs will come from the establishment of a complementary unit to research and develop best market practices around tax processes and administration in serving clients.
Arlene Foster said: "The 125-job expansion will see Deloitte grow to 275 employees in Belfast by 2013. The new jobs will generate in the region of £4m annually in additional salaries into the local economy through the provision of high quality jobs.
"These jobs will benefit not just experienced consultants but also graduates who are looking for an opportunity to begin a career within a global organisation."
