Group criticises lack of migrant candidates in election

The Immigrant Council of Ireland has criticised the political parties for running too few migrant candidates in the General Election.

The group is launching a campaign today called 'Count Us In'.

It aims to remind political parties that 10% of the Irish population now comprises of migrants, the majority of whom have a right to vote.
