Construction company admits safety breaches leading to worker's death
A construction company has admitted breaching health and safety regulations leading to the death of an employee.
Concast Precast Limited, represented by company secretary, Mr Bernard Quinn, pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to failing to provide a safe work practice at Hazelhatch Road, Newcastle on April 4, 2008, leading to the injury and death of Mr Adrian Mihoc.
It also pleaded guilty to failing to provide a written assessment of risk on the same date and location.
Judge Martin Nolan adjourned the matter until sentencing next May.
