Aer Lingus management to meet with striking cabin crew
Aer Lingus has cancelled five return flights today in an escalating row with unions over new rosters.
Flights to Malaga, Frankfurt, Madrid, Amsterdam and London Heathrow have been cancelled which will impact 1,500 passengers.
Thirty-two cabin crew represented by the trade union IMPACT have been removed from the payroll and 86 have absented themselves from duty.
They will be called into meetings with management today.
Aer Lingus spokesman Michael Greely said the airline cannot say whether the disruption to passengers will continue.
