An army bomb disposal team has made safe a quantity of unstable chemicals in Carlow this morning.

An army bomb disposal team has made safe a quantity of unstable chemicals in Carlow this morning.

Gardaí requested the attendance of the team at the Teagasc facility at Oakpark.

A quantity of Picric Acid, which was deemed to be in an unstable condition, was removed to a safe location and made safe in a controlled explosion.
