Chartbusters goes under, almost 100 jobs lost

Chartbusters is closing its 16 stores.

Twenty-two full time and 65 part time staff will lose their jobs as a result.

The company says the severe and unprecedented nature of the economic downturn has reduced revenues, and despite its best efforts, it has not been able to implement sufficient cost reductions.
