Taoiseach Brian Cowen has said he hopes the former chief executive of Anglo Irish Bank David Drumm would return home and face up to his responsibilities.

Massachusetts-based David Drumm has filed for bankruptcy in the US after Anglo rejected a deal that would see him pay back only half of the €8.3m he owes.
