Immigrant Council: Proposed legislation in breach of court rulings

The Immigrant Council of Ireland is warning of costly court challenges if a Government proposal on immigration legislation is implemented.

The Immigration, Residence and Protection Bill 2010 will allow for summary deportations, where an immigrant is deported without warning, despite their case being under review.
