Unions to meet HSE over end of surgery services in Navan

Unions representing staff at Our Lady's Hospital in Navan are meeting with the HSE this morning to discuss their decision to end all major surgeries there.

The Health Service Executive announced last week that all acute and emergency surgeries should end at the Meath hospital with immediate effect.

Hundreds of people gathered for a rally in the town over the weekend to show their opposition to the move.
