This afternoon marks the deadline for convicted rapist Larry Murphy to inform Gardai of his new address.

This afternoon marks the deadline for convicted rapist Larry Murphy to inform Gardaí of his new address.

The 45-year-old is now under the care of the Probation Service after his release from jail last Thursday.

Mr Murphy served 10 years of a 15-year sentence for the attempted murder of a Carlow businesswoman in February 2000.
