Body of Irish man shot in Spain to arrive home today
The remains of an Irish man shot dead on the Costa del Sol last week are expected to be returned home today.
Mr John O'Neill was gunned down outside a pub in Benalmadena after trying to diffuse a row.
His distraught family have been waiting since Tuesday to bring his body back to Dublin for burial after delays in the repatriation process.
The father-of-two from Coolock in Dublin was shot dead outside Coco's bar in Benalmadena in the early hours of last Wednesday morning.
The gunman fled the scene and a Spanish judge has issued a European arrest warrent for the 35-year-old Englishman believed to be behind the attack.
