Teen charged with Corbally assault
A 17-year-old boy has appeared before a special sitting of the children's court in Limerick today, charged with assault causing serious harm.
He was arrested by gardaí on Friday night at a petrol station in Corbally, Co Clare.
The youth is accused of assaulting a 16-year-old boy in the forecourt of the filling station.
The victim remains in a critical condition in hospital.
The accused was remanded to St. Patrick's detention centre and will appear before the courts again on Tuesday.
