Main lenders 'likely to raise rates by 0.5%'

Four more lenders are said to be planning to follow the example of EBS in raising mortgage interest rates.

According to the Irish Independent, AIB, Bank of Ireland, Permanent TSB and Irish Nationwide are planning an increase of about 0.5%.
