The main activities attracting penalties from the National Consumer Agency last year were misleading pricing and advertising, watered-down alcohol and car-clocking.

In the year, the agency executeda total of 96 enforcement actions, including 54 on-the-spot fines, 32 compliance notices, six prosecutions, three undertakings and one prohibition order.
