Yesterday, thousands of people with intellectual disabilities and their families took to the streets of Dublin, Castlebar and Galway to protest over rumoured reductions in support services.

Minister Harney says 42 organisations receive state funding to help families, and only the Brothers of Charity and the Sisters of Charity have a problem.
