Fine Gael Councillor Gerry Breen is the new Lord Mayor of Dublin.

Fine Gael Councillor Gerry Breen is the new Lord Mayor of Dublin.

He was elected last night at the Annual Meeting of Dublin City Council.

Councillor Breen represents the Clontarf Ward in the North Central Area and was first elected to Dublin City Council in 1999.

Fine Gael Councillor Edie Wynne was elected Deputy Lord Mayor.

Councillor Wynne represents the Rathmines Ward in the South East Area.
