Gardaí appeal for witnesses to west Dublin attempted robbery

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a suspected attempted armed robbery at a bookmakers in west Dublin.

A man held up staff at the shop in Littlepace in Dublin 15 at around 3.15 yesterday afternoon before being disarmed by an off-duty garda and escaping on foot.
