Hundreds of fans sign Ryan book of condolence
Hundreds of people have turned out at Donnybrook in Dublin this morning to pay their respects to Gerry Ryan.
The 53-year-old broadcaster was found dead at his home in Dublin yesterday after calling in sick on Thursday.
A book of condolence is now open at the RTE Radio Centre for the public to sign until 6pm today.
Minister Mary Hanafin was among the first to sign the book and said his death had "stunned the country".
One fan who signed the book, her voice shaking with emotion, said she listened to him every morning, while another said he was irreplaceable.
