Protestors to demonstrate at Anglo headquarters today

A protest will be held outside Anglo Irish Bank headquarters in Dublin later.

Yesterday, the controversial lender announced record losses for any Irish company of €12.7bn.

It plans to write off €109m of the €155m owed to it by former directors - including Sean FitzPatrick.

MEP Joe Higgins is behind today's protest. He says someone needs to be held accountable for the activities of the bank, but admits that may not be easy.
