Travel pass for elderly tourists available today
A free rail scheme developed by Fáilte Ireland in conjunction with Iarnród Éireann is now available for all over 66's visiting here.
The scheme - announced by the Government as part of the Budget in December, is designed to increase overseas visitor numbers to Ireland.
The Golden Trekker Tickets will take the form of a four-day ticket, or a sequence of four-day tickets depending on the length of stay - and are worth €100.
