The chairman of the Green Party has said he does not expect the report on the activities of the Dublin Dockland Development Authority to destabilise the Government.

Dan Boyle's comments came after claims by his former colleague Deirdre de Burca that the report would have political implications and cause "serious discomfort" for Fianna Fáil.

The Green Party leader John Gormley has denied he is delaying the publication of the report, which is due to be released after its been approved by the Attorney General.

Dan Boyle said: "As far as I know it relates to the internal activities of the DDDA and its internal governance and…it does not identify political parties or politicians."
