More than 250 delegates from EU member states are meeting in Dublin today to address the subject of poverty across Europe.

This year is the European Year for combatting Poverty and Social Exclusion.

Anna Visser, Director of the European Anti-Poverty Network, has said "Europe is failing to tackle what is a serious problem".
