Eight in court over €2.3m drugs find

Eight men were today appearing in court in Belfast in connection with a £2m (€2.3m) drugs seizure.

They are charged with conspiracy to supply and money laundering at Laganside Court.

It follows police raids in Belfast, Kilkeel, Co Down, and Preston in Lancashire, England.

A ninth person was released pending police reports.
