Irish man ordered to return to Spain to serve sentence
An Irish man found guilty of killing his wife while on holiday in a Spanish resort has been ordered to return to Spain to serve his sentence.
Dermot McArdle, who was convicted of the manslaughter of Kelly Ann Corcoran, had initially been allowed home to Dundalk pending the outcome of an appeal.
That process is now over and it is understood a judge has instructed him to return to Spain to start his two-year jail term.
Kelly Ann Corcoran fell from the balcony of a hotel in Marbella 10 years ago during a row with her husband.
