Shell looks for more time to compile Corrib gas reply

Shell has asked for more time to resolve its Corrib gas pipeline issues.

Next Friday is the deadline for revised information following An Bord Pleanala's direction that up to half of all the proposed onshore route was unsafe.

The company has said that, due to the complexity of the case, it needs more time to complete its work.

It is expected the oral hearings into the pipeline will be reopened once the information has been gathered.
