Teens shot in North attack
Two teenagers were shot a number of times in a gun attack in a lane in the North, police said today.
A masked man opened fire on the 16-year-old and 19-year-old off Colin Road, in Dunmurry, near Lisburn, just before 10pm last night.
The younger victim received injuries to his lower back while the older teenager was hit in both legs.
The pair were taken to hospital for treatment.
A motive for the shooting has not yet been established but paramilitary involvement is one line of inquiry.
The attacker was described as being around 5ft 8in, of slim build and wearing dark clothing.
Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
