Gardaí appeal for information after violent burglary

Gardaí are today appealing for witnesses following a violent break-in on a house in Co Clare.

A man carrying what is believed to be a shotgun and wearing a balaclava broke into the house at Ardkyle in Sixmilebridge shortly before 11pm and demanded cash.
