All Dublin Bus services halted

All Dublin Bus services are temporarily grounded this afternoon.

All valid tickets are being accepted on Luas and DART.

Dublin roads remain very icy following heavy showers and hailstones between 1-2pm.

Many Dublin routes are delayed by 30 minutes and this may worsen as traffic volumes increase, according to AA Roadwatch.

Anyone travelling today is advised to use the train, DART or Luas.

Red Line Luas services are running from Tallaght to Connolly with reduced frequency. Green Line services are not affected.

Bus Éireann services in Leinster are severely delayed on the 133, 103, 105, 109, 115, 120 and 126

Flights at Dublin Airport have been suspended until 5:30pm and it is expected to take two hours to clear the runway.

The M50 mainline remains quite clear but with severe delays of up to 45 minutes at the on and off ramps, especially at the Ballymun and Blanchardstown interchanges (J4 & J3).

However M50 northbound traffic is at a crawl from before J13 Ballinteer, especially at the exit ramp.

Nearby, the Drummartin Link Rd is very slippery.

In the city centre, Bridge St is closed both ways and Patrick's St is closed inbound. Gardaí are diverting traffic.

On the southside, Newtownpark Ave in Blackrock is closed from the N11 to Stradbrook Rd, diversions via Careysfort Ave.
