750 Irish soldiers serving overseas this Christmas
More than 750 members of the Defence Forces are serving overseas this Christmas.
Two hundred and forth-three troops are in Kosovo while 43 are in Bosnia.
Four hundred and twenty-one troops are in Chad - they're members of the 101st Infantry Battalion, mainly from Cork, Limerick, Kilkenny and Clonmel - and they wont be home until late January.
Lieutenant Marie Gleeson from Clonmel is Welfare Officer, 101st Infantry Battalion.
