Over 1,000 join Live Register in November
An extra 1,100 people joined the live register during the month, according to latest figures from the Central Statistics Office.
The live register stood at 413,505 for the month, from 412,407 in October.
Seasonally adjusted, the increase was 900, up from 422,500 in October to 423,400 in November.
The standardised unemployment rate however remains unchanged at 12.5%.
Speaking in the Dáil, Labour leader Eamon Gilmore expressed disappointment that more people continue to join the dole queues, especially in light of last month's figures which he said suggested a "bottoming out" of the unemployment crisis.
