Irish Rail has said that bus services are operating again between Galway and Athlone on Galway/Dublin services due to flooding between Ballinasloe and Athlone.

Irish Rail has said that bus services are operating again between Galway and Athlone on Galway/Dublin services due to flooding between Ballinasloe and Athlone.

Bus transfers are also in use on the Longford to Carrick-on-Shannon route due to flooding and the Limerick to Ennis service is also affected by flooding this evening.

On the Rosslare line bus transfers have been organised between Wicklow and Gorey due to landslide and embankment repairs.
