C-Difficile outbreak confirmed in Navan

The HSE has confirmed there has been an outbreak of the super bug C-Difficile at Our Lady's Hospital in Navan in Co Meath.
Visitor restrictions have been put in place at the hospital - while all elective orthopaedic surgeries have been cancelled.
It follows an outbreak of the infection at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda - where there have been 21 confirmed cases.
The Louth county coroner is also examining if the infection was a factor in five deaths at the hospital.
