CIE chairman due before Oireachtas Committee

CIE chairman John Lynch is due to appear before the Oireachtas Transport Committee today to face questions about alleged malpractice at the semi-state body.

It emerged recently that a recent investigation had uncovered significant losses as a result of theft, fraud and collusion between staff and contractors.
